Martin Feistl sends with “Pray for power” the currently hardest drytooling route in Germany. For Martin it was probably the fivth ascent in total.

In 2009 the route in the Starzlachklamm was freed by Michi Wohlleben after 10 days of work in the route and several hours of training.Michi Wohlleben graded the route, at that time still a mixed route, with M13. Lucie Hrozová got the first repetition and then Mirek Matejec (both 2014) the third ascent. Both had upgraded the route to M14. Jeff Mercier, who was the only one in the DTS so far, classified it as D13 + (using fig4) and D14 without it.

Yesterday I was able to climb „Pray for power“, which is still known as the hardest Drytooling-route in Germany. First ascended at a really early time in that discipline by @michiwohlleben, it has just seen 3 known repeats by @lucie_climbs@mirekmatejec and the only repeat in DTS by @jeff_mercier_. For the send I replaced 2 old pitons with 2 bolts, made a rope change, and used many fig4s.   belayed by @am_elie_k, sending „Papis kleiner Liebling“ afterwards“ Photo: (c) Felix Bub
