Jakob Schubert remained „only“ in second place ahead of Erlangen’s Alex Megos, who once again took part in a World Cup. The Swiss climber Sascha Lehmann made it to a surprising 8th place. the german climber Sebastian Halenke and Yannick Flohè it was not quite enough for the final, but for a very good 14th and 15th place respectively. For the ladies, Janja Garnbret and Jessica Pilz exchanged their places on the podium. Jessica was the only starter in the final to climb to the top. The South Korean Jain Kim was third, as in Villars, Switzerland. Hannah Schubert, the sister of Jakob Schubert, became good eighth.
