Die Deutsche Solveig Korherr konnte mit „Zor“ 8c im türkischen Klettergebiet Datça eine weitere Toproute klettern. Der 22-jährige Deutsche ist schon seit über zwei Monaten in der Türkei und noch will sie nicht wieder zurück ;-).
After getting used to this steep and powerful climbing in the cave in the first few weeks, I found myself a perfect challenge with „Zor“. The first pitch is a very bouldery and steep 8b+ (pic 1) followed by endurance climbing in the extension (pic 2). The lower boulder section didn’t really fit me, but I’m glad I persevered over many days despite wet holds and seepage to find the beta that worked for me!
After finally sticking the big move from the ground that I kept on falling (pic 1), I luckily fought my way through the cave to the anchor! What a big journey!“
