Von Adam Ondra gibt es seit längerer Pause mal wieder etwas Neues. So fand er endlich für sein Projekt in seinem Heimatgebiet „Byci skala“ im Mährischen Karst (Moravský kras) Topbedingungen und konnte „Kout pikle“ (XI+) beenden. Die Route könnte auch etwas schwerer sein, aber Dank der Abstufungen in letzter Zeit, wird wohl wieder vorsichtiger bewertet ;-). Vor sieben Wochen konnte Adam im selben Gebiet schon die Route „Molekuly (Molecules)“ erstbegehen.
„After some unwanted rest from climbing , it is great to be back on the rock and feel like I can try hard again and be myself. On Saturday morning I was lucky enough to find freezing conditions in Byci skala crag (Brno – the Czech Republic 🇨🇿) and find this finicky project completely dry. As it is inside the cave, it is very often condensated, especially in warmer temperatures.
On Saturday, it was even too cold for my taste, but it was worth it. „Kout pikle“ is the name of the new route. The grade is somewhere between 9a+ and 9b, but let’s be on the safe side with 9a+“
