Within a few days, Tommy Caldwell and Alex Honnold improved the speed record for the „Nose“ in the unbelievable time from 1 hour, 58 minutes and 7 seconds. Hard to believe, while the first ascent Warren Harding, Wayne Merry and George Whitmore in 1958 needed another 58 days through the nearly 1,000-meter-high near-vertical wall. For the most part of the tour, they have climbed simultaneously and in a fairly amazing belay. Photo: (c) Sam Crossley und Austin Siadak
