The now 40-year-old Bernd Zangerl manages after about 15-day project time since 2015, the first ascent of „Il Colonel SDS“ 8B + (C) in Piemont, Italy. For years he regularly visiting in the Val di Orco and opened in the valley many first ascents. The SDS consists of two super powerful movements, leading into the existing 8A+ Boulder.
