The 19-year-old Italian Laura Rogora is now going blow on blow. After the first repetition of the Adam Ondra route „Pure dreams plus“ (9a+), her first 9a+-route in the climbing crag „Massone“ near by Arco, she climb her next 9a-route „Underground“ (9a). It was the seventh route grade 9a or harder for Laura. Also was it the first female ascent of this route. The „Underground“ climbing route has long been the most difficult route in Italy. The route goes along the cave roof and with a length of about 25 meters overhanging just 5 meters difference in height. The route was bolted by the Austrian Gerhard Hörhager and possibly climbed in 1998 by Manfred Stuffer. However, this ascent in controversial. For this, Yuji Hirayama, who climbed the route in 2000, would be the first ascent. Photo: (c) Sara Grippo
