After a summer of training at home, the Italian Niky Ceria was now in Colorado, visiting the boulders of the Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) to sample some of the historic classic lines there. Already in the first few days of his stay, Niky repeated some hard boulders on his wish list, like „Naked and Afraid“ 8B in the Wild Basin and „Mirror Reality“ 8B + and as the highlight „Paint it Black“ 8C in one day. It was also the 9th ascent of the Boulder.

Niky comments on Instagram: „One-day ascent of @dawoods89 ‚Paint it Black‘ in Rmnp. It had a lot of fun climbing this roof and hanging out with Remi and Jamie the other day. This line climbs really good and I enjoyed the movements as I have always imagined I would. On a sadder note it was not the best to see the holds full of chalk and partly ruined because of chalk abuse.“
