Fanatic Climbing  reports with an interview that Théo Chappex, who has made the FA of Ten Criminals in Valais. In 2018, he open his first 8C with „Meithra“ in Arolla and immediately began projecting his second, for which he needed about 40-50 sessions. The boulder is 16 moves long and starts sitting with an 8A+/B sequence, followed by an 8B without transition, and at the end he shares the last moves with „Manhattan R.C.“ an 8B+ that he already climbed in 2016.

„Yes! Today was the day! For sure my longest project ever! Lately I’m not sure if I was still fighting against the physical/technical challenge or just against myself… But it was worth the fight and I’m proud to put up this new addition in the list of hard rigs in Valais. Ten Criminals basically consists of 16 powerful movements on bad crimps, finishing in the tough last section of Manhattan R.C. 8b+. A gem in the purest Valais style!“
