James Pearson proved once again that he has nerves of steel and sends the fifth repetition of „Lexicon“ (E11, 7a) at Pavey Ark in the Lake District in North West England. He climbed the route without tries the moves in the toprope. He only abseiled the route to check out the gear options and to look at the hold sequence.
The route is probably the hardest trad-route in UK. Neil Gresham first climbed Lexicon (E11, 7a) on 4 September 2021 and was subsequently repeated by Steve McClure, Dave MacLeod and Mat Wright.
James Pearson also sends the third ascent of Harder Faster (E9 7a) back in December last year. In 2020 James managed the first repeat of Tribe, 9a(+), arguably the hardest trad route in the world.
