The US-American Michaela Kiersch, who is equally good with and without a rope, manages her first 8B+ boulder with „New Base Line“. The classic „New Base Line“ is located in the Magic Wood bouldering area in Graubuenden, Switzerland, and was first ascented by Bernd Zangerl.

„Literally felt like a dream to top this one out. I spent one session to complete all the moves and the next three to link it all together. A hard project wouldn’t be complete without also dropping it from the top a time or two as well.“

Michaela, who is only 1.52 m tall, climbed with „Crown of Aragorn“ in Hueco Tanks, Texasher first boulder in grade 8B in 2017 .
