The race for the hardest boulder in Switzerland is open again ;-). As the Youtube channel mellow reported, the young US-American Shawn Raboutou was able to extend the legendary boulder „Story of two worlds“ a bit. The result was the „Story of 3 Worlds“ (8C+).
The boulder „The story of Two worlds“ (8C) was first climbed by Dave Graham in 2005 and is one of the oldest boulder in this grade in the world. In 2012, the strong Japanese Dai Koyamada was able to add a low start.
Shawn Raboutou, himself, is now one of the best boulderers in the world. He has three 8C+ first ascents to his credit so far. In 2018, he was able to open probably the hardest boulder in Switzerland with „Off the wagon low„. He now has a total of six 8C+ boulder climbs to his tick-list.
