Located on the Paroi dérobée in Aiglun, near Nice in the south of France, the multi-pitch route „Ali Baba“ (240 m, 8a+ max, 60 m overhang) is one of the great climbing routes in France.

The impressively overhanging route „Ali Baba“ was opened in 2002 by Philippe Mussato and comprises 8 pitches: 8a, 8a, 7b+, 8a, 8a+, 8a+, 7b+. Now 20 years later, Solène Amoros and Katherine Choong, accompanied by photographer Mélanie Cannac, were able to repeat the route. A 100% female team for an ambitious challenge! All pitches were climbed by the two climbers in the lead within three and a half days. They spent the nights in between in the portaledge.
