Alexander Feichter gelingt die erste Begehung von „Frozen Water“  in Gais. Er schlägt als Schwierigkeit so etwa Fb8c vor. Insgesamt verbrachte Alex 9 Tage in dem Boulder. Für den erste Teil bis über das Dach brauchte er 4 Tage, für den Rest und den Komplettdurchstieg dann noch einmal 5 Tage. Es ist seine zweite Erstbegehung, nach „The Mystical Patatohead´s Direct Edge“  im gleichen Gebiet, in diesem Schwierigkeitsgrad.

Alex meinte dazu: „First Ascent of the Boulder „Frozen Water“ (Gais) – Difficulty Range around Fb.8c. The whole line maintains a very strong climbing steal. In addition to the maximum power emphasized passages, an enormous power endurance requirement is added. After 4 days of proving the Line, I was able to do the first steep „roof part“. After additional 5 days, I have the First Ascent of the Boulder „Frozen Water“ (Gais) – Difficulty Range around Fb.8c.
