Carlo Traversi eigentlich schwer bouldernd unterwegs, immerhin gelang ihm dieses Jahr sein erster 8C+ Boulder, ist ein echtes Multitalent. Das gelang ihm schon letztes Jahr die erste Wiederholung von „Meltdown“ (8c+ Trad). Jetzt konnte er mit „Empath“ eine 9a+/5.15a -Route als Erstbegehung für sich verbuchen. Die Route befindet sich an einem neuem bisher namenlosen Felsen in der Nähe von Kirkwood in Kalifornien (USA). Entdecker war James „Jimmy“ Webb, der es bei einer Wanderung sah und mit seinen beiden Freunden Carlo Taversi und Daniel Woods.
Schwer scheint es zu sein. Altmeister Chris Sharma meint dazu: „pic man looks incredible!!! Congrats. Would love to come check it out someday“
