With the successful ascent of ‘The Boss’ in the British Lake District, Shauna is the first woman to climb an 8B+ boulder on the British Isles.

For Shauna, a former successful competition climber, it was her third boulder in this grade and her second [8B+] boulder this year, after she climbed the boulder ‘Fotofobia sit’ in the Spanish bouldering area Pedriza just two months ago. She achieved her first ascent of the 8B+ grade in 2014, when she managed the first female ascent of the ‘New Base Line’ [8B+] in Averstal, Switzerland (Magic Wood).
