The 18-year-old US-American Connor Herson sends the route „Empath“ 5.15a/9a+ at Lake Tahoe in the northern Sierra Nevada in trad style. It was the 5th ascent of the route so far. Before that, the young American had already scored the route. In this style, it would probably be the hardest route next to „Tribe“.

The route „Empath“ bolted in 2019 by Carlo Traversi and Dave Wetmore and then first climbed by Carlo Traversi in 2020.
