Carlo Traversi actually bouldering hard, after all, he managed his first 8C + boulder this year, is a real all-rounder. Last year he succeeded in repeating „Meltdown“ (8c + Trad) for the first time. Now he was able to book a 9a + / 5.15a route as his first ascent with „Empath“. The route is on a new previously unnamed cliff near Kirkwood in California (USA). Old master Chris Sharma says: „pic man looks incredible!!! Congrats. Would love to come check it out someday“ „Empath 5.15a (First Ascent). It’s rare to find something that not only challenges you in a way that nothing else has but also happens to be the best piece of rock you’ve ever climbed on.
