Daniel Woods holt sich die 3. Begehung von „La Rustica“ (8C). Der Boulder im Schweizerischen Valle Bavona wurde 2013 von Jimmy Webb erstbegangen und ursprünglich mit 8B+ bewertet. Aber Nalle Hukkataival, der den Boulder Ende letzten Jahres wiederholte, als auch jetzt Daniel stufen den Boulder eher mit „solide“ 8C ein. Damit schafft er es jetzt in unsere Liste der Topboulder dieser Welt.
Daniel Woods zu seiner Begehung: „Climb in Bavona. This was one of my main objectives on my list. Pure compression wrestling out this perfect overhung river polished feature. The crux move is a savage reach out right to a hard to get into pocket. From here you gotta keep your shit together all the way to the end. I actually fell on the last move a few times. Fun fact @jwebxl originally called this 8B+ back in the day and it went years without a repeat until @nalle_hukkataival finally did it last year giving it the upgrade. Def a solid ass 8C!“
