Nach „Brooklyn“ letzten Monat konnte jetzt Loïc Zehani noch einen draufsatteln und meldet mit „Mossoul“ 9b/+ in seinem französischen Heimatklettergebiet „Orgon“ seine bisher schwerste Route und Erstbegehung. Die vorgeschlagene Bewertung bedarf natürlich noch einer Bestätigung. „Mossoul“ ist ein härterer Ausstieg zu“Le poisson pilote“ 9a+, welche Loïc im Jahr 2019 erstbegehen konnte. Eingebohrt hat die Route, wie fast alle Projekte seines Sohnes Christophe Zehani.
„It’s a big overhang with 4 sections of bouldering without rest which give around thirty movements.
This is also my hardest route now ! Pockets, verticals, underclings , crimps… Very happy to succeed.
I suggest after reflection the grade of 9b/b+ for this test of strength and resistance.
